A SUSPECT IS UNDER ARREST for allegedly dumping medical waste off the beach in Avalon. CBS 3 in Philadelphia reported that the suspect, a Main Line dentist, allegedly confessed to the crime, and is being treated at a mental health facility. Detectives are still seeking more evidence.

BULK TRASH will be collected in Avalon Monday morning, September 8. Items must be at the curb by 7am. Bulk trash will be collected in Stone Harbor on September 22 and November 17.
